Dwight Stephenson Bratcher of Grove died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at his home. He was 91.

Bratcher was born Jan. 10, 1916, in Nash, to Emmett and Myrtle (Stephenson) Bratcher.

He was a World War II veteran of the Navy, where he served as a Seabee.

He was a construction superintendent for Chalmers-Borden.

He married Ruby Yotter on Oct. 5, 1947. She survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include one daughter and her husband, Beverly and Bob Pering of San Diego, Calif.; two sons, Stephen Bratcher and his wife Debbie of Grove and Dennis Bratcher of Joplin, Mo.; two sisters, Nan Hartman and Lorraine Clark of Oklahoma City, five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter and one brother, Rex Bratcher.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Olympus Cemetery in Grove.

Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
