Lillian Faye Towell of North Miami, Okla., died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Eastwood Manor Nursing Home in Commerce, Okla., after an illness. She was 84.
Lillian was born Dec. 10, 1923, in Washburn, Mo., to Bailey and Marie (Wallen) Jarvis. She had lived in Miami since 1967. She was a member of North Miami Assembly of God Church and she was a homemaker and had worked at Oklahoma Leather for several years and at Glenn Berry Manufacturing and at Parson sKansas Ammunitions Plant.
She married Paul Williams on Oct. 31, 1942, and she married Hardy Towell in 1973 in North Miami and he preceded her in death in 1978.
Survivors include four sons and their wives, Donald L. and Doris Williams of Miami, Okla., Lonnie A. and Patsy Williams of Owasso, Okla., Gerlad D. and Donna Williams of Miami, Okla., and Bob G. and Kathy Williams of Carl Junction, Mo.; one daughter and her husband, Faye Paulette (Polly) and Jesse Johnson of White Oak, Okla.; two brothers and their wives, Norman and Vera Jarvis of Miami, Okla., Bill and Anita Jarvis of Big Cabin, Okla., four sisters, Jean and husband Bill Ballenger of Cleora, Okla., Johnnie Hensley of Cleora, Okla., Sandra Powell of Cleora, Okla., Charlotte and husband Ken McSpadden of Ketchum, Okla.; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce, Okla. The Rev. Jerry Von Moss will officiate. Interment will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Garden east of Miami, Okla.
Pallbearers will be John Williams, Scott Williams, Randy keller, Jess Stipes, David Williams and Joey Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Williams, Adam Williams, Chris Williams, Troy Williams and Aaron Hymer.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami.
