Larry Doyle Hart of Quapaw died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami after an illness. He was 50.
Mr. Hart was born June 4, 1957, in Baxter Springs, Kan., to Henry and Nema (Gourd) Hart. He lived all of his life in the Quapaw and Commerce area.
He owned and operated Larry's Trucking for 15 years before retiring. He was of the Assembly of God faith.
He married Sherry Holt on March 10, 1984, in Eureka Springs, Ark. She survives, of the home.
Additional survivors include one son and his wife, James and Anna Hart of Quaupaw; two daughters and their husbands, Kristy and Cory Niday of Quapaw and Stephanie and Miles Price of Miami; eight brothers, three sisters and four grandchildren, Torye and Keegan Hart, Ashley Hold and Anna Price.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roy Hart.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami. The Rev. Fred VonMoss will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.
Pallbearers will be Doug Nutting, Corey Niday, James Perry, Steve Teeter, Scott Teeter, Matt Nelson and Brandon Shelton. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry, Wesley, Ramsey, Chief, Randy, Roy Jack and Dick Hart.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
