Willie Sue Cook of Miami, OK passed away Monday March 19, 2012 at Integris Baptist Regional Hospital in Miami, OK. She was 93.

Mrs. Cook was born July 19, 1918 in Sand Springs, OK to William Basil and Susie (Barnett) Beard. She had lived in Miami since 1986 moving from Sand Springs, OK. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Miami and had worked for Commander Mills in Sand Springs for 55 years as a seamstress and supervisor. Mrs. Cook loved to go to dances at the VFW and Miami Senior Citizens Center.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Leon Clinton Guynn in 1986 and her second husband J.B. Cook in 1993 and by 3 siblings Faye Best, Fern Reynolds and Lawrence Beard.

Funeral Services will be Saturday March 24, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK. Rev. Kathy Leitner will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brad Smith, Dayne Smith, Randy Smith, Terry Henry, Ronnie Guynn and Jerry Money. Interment will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Miami, OK. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Miami, OK.
