Ronald Wesley Waldron of Miami died June 29, 2008, in Vinita. He was 83.

Mr. Waldron was born March 13, 1925, in rural Miami to Charles and Beulah (Hopkins) Waldron.

He served his country as a member of the Army.

He was a longtime employee of BF Goodrich plant as a tire builder.

He married Norma Mills on Aug. 14, 1948. She survives, of the home.

The Waldrons resided and raised their family in Miami for over 59 years.

Additional survivors include one daughter, Debbie Singleton of Bartlesville; one son, Keith Waldron of Richfield, Minn.; one sister, Joyce Waldron of Springfield, Mo., and four grandchildren, Jessica Waldron, Stacey Stanley, Lindsay Waldron and Skye Singleton.

Services were Wednesday at the Church by the Park near Twin Bridges State Park, southeast of Miami. The Rev. Ken Ferris and the Rev. Ed McFall officiated. Burial was in Ottawa Indian Cemetery.

Friends serving as pallbearers included Jerry Manning, Brente Manning, Ron Panter, Albert Gilstrap, John Clover and Mike Mills.

Arrangements were under the direction of Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home.
