Cathy Wallace of Tulsa, Okla., died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at home after a brief battle with cancer. She was 50.
She was born Aug. 13, 1958, in Dover, Del., to Grace Wallace and H.S. Sparkman. She was raised for many years by her beloved grandparents, Leonard and Hazel Wallace of Wyandotte, Okla., and Wiley and Norena Sparkman of Grove, Okla.
She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, her father and a niece, Hope Bell.
She is survived by one daughter, Brandy Wallace of Brookfield, Mo.; two sons, Gentry Mammedaty of Tulsa, Okla., and Travis Mammedaty of Sapulpa, Okla.; one brother, Morris Wallace of Wyandotte, Okla.; eight sisters, Kim Bell of Claremore, Okla., Stephanie Hart of Commerce, Okla., Tammy Moss and Bobby Fuller, both of Wyandotte, Okla., Lori Lockner of Moriarty, N.M., Debby Salisbury of Tulsa, Okla., Candy Corum of Beggs, Okla., and Jessica Williams of Fairland, Okla.; plus numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by her long-time friend and companion, Marietta Parkhill.
Cathy was a member of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma and the Cherokee Nation.
The body will be cremated.
