Randy Eugene Bunce, 51, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at his residence in Baxter Springs Kan., after a lengthy illness.

He was born Nov. 22, 1958, in Baxter Springs, Kan. to Raymond and Marie (Underhill) Bunce.

He attended and graduated from Miami High School.

He married Marsha Routh May 24, 1985, in Miami.

He lived in the Baxter and Miami areas all his life and worked in construction and was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha, of the home; one son, Jeremy North of Okemah; two daughters, Tracy Painter of Quapaw, and Tabatha Bunce of Baxter Springs, Kan.; his mother, Mari Bunce; two brothers, Dennis and Steve Bunce both of Baxter Springs, Kan.; one sister, Becky Smith of Wyandotte; and four grandchildren, Blake and Haley Painter, Brianna and Harley North.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, at the Newman Cemetery east of Quapaw, with brother Don Williams officiating. Shawn King will honor him with Indian Rites. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 29, at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Commerce. Pallbearers: Dennis Bunce, Curtis Wyatt, Mark Russell, Cody Murphy, Mitch Greninger and Travis Tash Honorary Pallbearers: Steve Bunce and Danny Clark.
