Robert L. Roschevitz, a longtime resident of Fairland, died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Integris Grove General Hospital after an illness. He was 72.
Mr. Roschevitz was born Sept. 9, 1934, in Kansas City, Kan., to Leo and Verna (Meister) Roschevitz. He moved to Fairland in 1950 where he graduated from high school.
He worked as a millman at B.F. Goodrich for 31 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fairland.
Mr. Roschevitz married Margaret Harris on Nov. 28, 1953. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Mark Roschevitz and his wife Mary of Fairland, and Matthew Roschevitz and his wife Cheri of Neosho, Mo.; a daughter and her husband, Melissa and Tim Browning of Fairland; two brothers, Gary Roschevitz and his wife Nancy of Kansas City, Kan., and Lawrence Roschevitz and his wife Joan of Rio Rancho, NM.; a sister, Karen Miner and her husband Ron of Olathe, Kan., five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fairland with Pastor Leo Schroeder officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Sam Grubb, Charles Babst, Don Babst, Scotty Bennett, Bobby Schroeder and Bill Bloomer. Burial will be at Fairland Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., today, at Adcock Funeral Home in Fairland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Children's Miracle Network in care of the funeral home.
