Clara H. Reilender of Seneca, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at St. Johns Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo., after an illness.

She was 85.

Mrs. Reilender was born March 31, 1922, in Show Low, Ariz., to Jess and Nora Wilson. Before moving to Seneca, she lived in Phoenix, Ariz. She lived with her son and his wife for the past five years.

She was a homemaker.

During World War II, she was a “Rosie, the Riveter” at Goodyear Aerospace Plant in Arizona.

She married Donald Charles Reilender in 1955 in Phoenix. He preceded her in death in 1990.

She was also preceded in death by her seven siblings, Steve Wilson, Clyde Wilson, James Wilson, Temp Wilson, Jesse Hamblin, Bertha Eberwine and Amy Roska.

Survivors include one son and his wife, Ronald and Ceclia Reilender; one sister, Geneva Cockerel of Phoenix; four grandchildren, Aaron Reilender, Leah Reilender, Jamie Reilender and Nathan Reilender, and three great-grandchildren, Julia Jenna, Kaden and Elijah.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home in Seneca.

Services will be Oct. 20 in Phoenix. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix.
