Cecil Earl Taylor passed away on Monday May 24, 2010, in Bentonville, Ark. He was 83.
Cecil was born Jan. 24, 1927, in Commerce, to William and Jennie Hardin Taylor.
He was a long distance truck driver by trade and has visited every state in the union. He has resided in Gentry Ark., for the last 20 years. Cecil was a volunteer fire fighter and a member of the Civil Defense. He served his country in the United States Navy and Air Force during WWII.
Cecil is preceded in death by parents, two brothers and his wife of 54 years, Betty Lou Taylor, who passed away July 1 1999.
He is survived by his five sons, Richard Taylor of Montana, Michael Taylor of Truman, Minn., Stephen Taylor of Lavern, Donald Taylor of Cinebar, Wash., Jeff Taylor of Billings, Mont.; five daughters, Linda Patrick of Idaho, Beverly Hill of Kansas City, Kan., Mary Swanson of San Juan, Texas, Patricia Reid of Rogers, Ark., Barbara Browning of Kansas City, Kan.; one Brother, Bill Taylor of Minnesota; three sisters, Juanita McDuffy of Springfield, Joyce Taylor of Arizona and JoAnn McDodald of Miami.
