Dixie Florine Snodderly of Bluejacket died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at her home. She was 72.
Mrs. Snodderly was born Feb. 13, 1935, in Bluejacket to Woody and Florine (Coop) Wilkins. She graduated from Bluejacket High School.
She worked in the Loan Department of the First National Bank of Vinita for 20 years before retiring. She was a homemaker.
She married Marvin Snodderly on May 15, 1953, in Bluejacket. He survives, of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons and their wives, Jim and Terrie Snodderly of Bluejacket and Chris and Judee Snodderly of Miami; one daughter and her husband, Sandra and Mike Keifner of Grove; two sisters and their husbands, Wanda and Jim Couch and Mary and Darrel Burroughs; six grandchildren and their spouses, Jacie and John Rife of Oswego, Kan., Kelli and Jeff Wayland of Welch, Zach Sooter of Chicago, Ill., Rod and Sally Sooter of Jenks and Traci and Danny Cook of Miami, and 11 great-grandchildren, Erika, Rachel, Wil, Blake, Justus, Jaden, Kendryck, Laci, Kassi, Randi and Zachary.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bobby Joe Wilkins.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Thomas Funeral Home in Welch. The Rev. Leon Weece will officiate. Burial will be in Bluejacket Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Fitzpatrick, Tom Miles, Jim Spunaugle, Johnny Hurst, Lloyd Martin and Brad Ingram. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Woolard, Jerry Newman, Dean Newman, Bob McSpadden and Bill Daugherty.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Welch Enrichment Foundation and St. Francis Hospice in Vinita.
