Virginia Lee Conrad of Commerce died Friday, May 18, 2007, at Quaker Hill Manor in Lowell, Kan. She was 70.
Ms. Conrad was born Dec. 1, 1936, in Commerce to Herman and Ruby (Pruitt) Combs in Commerce.
She was a seamstress for Glenn Berry's Manufacturing for 15 years. She was a member of Tri-State Faith Center in Cardin.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Conrad of Commerce, David Conrad of Picher and Larry Conrad of Miami; one daughter, Mary Strickland of Bluejacket; three brothers, Gordon Combs of Commerce, Bill Combs of Kansas and Paul Combs of Miami; two sisters, Lois Stoskop of Baxter Springs, Kan., and Carolyn Roberts of Arkansas, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Betty, Minnie and Marlyn.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami with the Rev. Charles Clevenger officiating.
Pallbearers include Michael, John, David, John, Eddy Aaron, Steven, Daniel and Jim.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Commerce.
