Lillian Faye Towell of North Miami died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Eastwood Manor Nursing Home in Commerce after an illness. She was 84.
Mrs. Towell was born Dec. 10, 1923, in Washburn, Mo., to Bailey and Marie (Wallen) Jarvis. She lived in Miami since 1967.
She worked at Oklahoma Leather for several years, Glenn Berry Manufacturing and at the Parsons, Kan., Ammunition Plant. She was a member of North Miami Baptist Church.
She married Paul Williams on Oct. 31, 1942. He preceded her in death. She married Hardy Towell in 1973 in North Miami. He preceded her in death in 1978.
Survivors include four sons and their wives, Donald l. and Doris Williams of Miami, Lonnie A. and Patsy Williams of Owasso, Gerald D. and Donna Williams of Miami and Bob G. and Kathy Williams of Junction, Mo.; one daughter and her husband, Faye Paulette “Polly” and Jesse Johnson of White Oak; two brothers and their wives, Norman and Vera Jarvis of Miami and Bill and Anita Jarvis of Big Cabin; four sisters and their husbands, Jean and Bill Ballenger, Johnnie Hensley and Sandra Powell, all of Cleora, and Charlotte and Ken mcSpadden of Ketchum; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce. The Rev. Jerry Von Moss will officiate. Burail will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, east of Miami.
Pallbearers will be John William, Scott Williams, Randy Keller, Jess Stipes, David Williams and Joey Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Williams, Adam Williams, Chris Williams, Troy Williams and Aaron Hymer.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami.
