Norman L. Johnson of Wyandotte died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at his home after an illness. He was 69.
Mr. Johnson was born Nov. 28, 1937, in Joplin, Mo., to Otis and Mayme Bell (Boles) Johnson. He lived most of his life in the Wyandotte area.
He was a veteran of the Navy.
He was a heavy equipment operator, working piplines for 30 years. He is of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include three sons, David Johnson of the home, Terry Johnson of Glendale, Ariz., and Allen Johnson of Missouri; one daughter, Melanie Stilley of Wyandotte; one brother, Dale Johnson of Oranogo, Mo., and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Louise Hendrickson, Meda McFarland and Doyle Loncarich, and three brothers, Otis Johnson, Vern Johnson and Blacky Johnson.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown Cemetery in Wyandotte. The Rev. Steve Johnson will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami.
