David Strickland of Anderson, Ind., died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at his home. He was 54.

Mr. Strickland was born Sept. 6, 1953, in Miami. He moved to Anderson in March, 1992.

He worked for Coca-Cola in Anderson and America's Propane in Noblesville, Ind., before becoming a freight re-locator. He was a member of the Bridge Community Church in Anderson.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Strickland of Anderson; one daughter, Kelsey Strickland of Orlando Fla.; two sons, Zachary Strickland and Lucas Strickland, both of Shelbyville, Tenn.; parents, Clayton and Fran Strickland of Wyandotte and Buck and Janiece Lawson of Exeter, Mo.; three brothers, Rick Strickland of Oklahoma City, Gary Strickland of Pleasant View, Tenn., and Kent Strickland of Seneca, Mo.; three step-brothers, three step-sisters and one grandson, Colton Strickland of Shelbyville.

Memorial services were held Nov. 20 at Central Community Chapel in Anderson. Pastor Chris Mishler officiated.

Arrangements were under the direction of Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home of Anderson.

Remains will be returned home for family graveside services at Oak Hill Family Cemetery in Cassville, Mo.
