Oma Lee Stelle of Miami died Friday, July 11, 2008, at Integris Baptist Regional Hospital in Miami after an illness. She was 63.

Mrs. Stelle was born Jan. 31, 1945, to William and Minnie Purdom in Tulsa. They preceded her in death.

She married Jack B. Stelle in 1991 in Miami. He survives, of the home.

Mrs. Stelle was a quality inspector for Eagle Picher where she retired after 27 years of employment. She was of the Assembly of God faith and was a past member of the Wyandotte Fire Department and the Wyandotte Lioness Club.

Survivors include a son, Leon Crow and his wife Trinda of Wyandotte; two daughters, Brenda Taffner and her husband Billy of Miami and Linda Clark and her husband Denver of Granby, Mo., two stepsons, Tom and Ruby Stelle of Quapaw and Scott and Josie Stelle of Wagoner, 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami with Danny Burleson officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dean Cunningham, Cory Taffner, Jonny Buss, Walker Hance, Wesley Clark and Torry Warren.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
