Jack Walker Crosson died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, in Grove following an extended illness. He was 77.
Mr. Crosson was born June 23, 1930, in Snowmac to Guy Crosson and Mabel (Phelps) Crosson. He grew up in the Ada area and moved to the Chelsea area in 1958. He attended East Central University in Ada.
He was a Korean War veteran of the Air Force where he served as a staff sergeant.
He married Vera Marie Howard on Dec. 21, 1960, in Turley. She preceded him in death on July 14, 2005.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Norman Crosson and Neal Crosson.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Terrell and Willgelmina Crosson of Chelsea, and one sister, Sue Whitwell of Stonewall.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Chelsea Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Bishop will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Turner Funeral Chapel in Grove.
