Teresa Burkybile-Moss of Bluejacket died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa after a lengthy illness. She was 42.
Mrs. Burkybile-Moss was born March 8, 1966, in Kellogg, Idaho. She graduated from Welch High School and received an associate's degree from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami. She lived in Bluejacket for nine months, moving from Commerce.
She worked as a lab tech for Fisher Scientific Inc. since 1987. She was a member of North Miami Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Moss, of the home; two sons, Robert Burkybile III and Todd Burkybile, both of Tahlequah; one stepson, Curtis Moss of Miami; two stepdaughters, Lindsey Moss and Sarah Moss, both of Miami; her father and stepmother, Mac and Sharon McCoin of Commerce; her mother, Nellie Hatfield of Galena, Kan.; one brother and his wife, Sammy and Carol Wright of Norman; two half brothers, Brent Hatfield and Jeremy Barr, both of Joplin, Mo.; three stepbrothers and their wives, Rodney Langley of Commerce, Monte and Debra Langley of Welch and Tony and Lisa Langley of Laurel, Del.; one sister and her husband, Sherry and Les Sater of Grove; one half sister, Tiffanie Maas of Waterloo, Wis., and one grandchild.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Adcock Funeral Home chapel in Afton. The Rev. Phil Shyers will officiate. Burial will be in Ottawa Indian Cemetery, east of Miami.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Langley, Monte Langley, Tony Langley, Dallas Herrera, Bob Perren, Robert Livingston, Brent Hatfield and Jeremy Barr. Honorary pallbearers will be Les Sater.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
