Larry Joe Epperson of Miami died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at the Miami Nursing Center after an illness. He was 54.

Mr. Epperson was born Dec. 6, 1952, in Vinita to Joe Ervin and Margaret Maxine (McCombs) Epperson. He lived in the Miami area all of his life.

He was self-employed and operated Larry's Lawn Services.

He married Jana Faye Seely on June 10, 2005, in Miami. She survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include three sons, Bryan Epperson of Bernice, Clint Epperson of Vinita and Jeremiah Chappel, of the home; one daughter, Rebecca Jo Campbell of Vinita; one stepson, B.J. Paradee of Joplin, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Legena Smith of Oswego, Kan.; two sisters, Patty Gates of Fort Worth, Texas, and Lavanna Bryant of Grove; five grandchildren, Mahala Epperson, Kasey Epperson, Ty Epperson, Dillon Campbell and Madilynn Campbell, and six stepgrandchildren.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. The Rev. Bruce Butler will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami.
