Iva A. Laue of Quapaw died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Miami Nursing Center after an illness. She was 64.
Iva was born July 2, 1942, to Harry and Maggie (Minser) Cole in Miami. She lived in the Miami and Quapaw area most of her life.
She married Donald Laue on March 1, 1970. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1975.
She was a member of the Quapaw Assembly of God.
Survivors include one daughter, Terri Hanes of Miami; one sister and her husband, Ethel and Don Davidson of Neosho, Mo.; one grandson, Dalton; one granddaughter, Hailey; four nephews and their wives, Rusty and Judy Beatie, Terry and Pansy Beatie, Richard and Mary Davidson and Robert and Karen Davidson; one niece and her husband, Becky and Paul Soles, seven great-nephews and six great-nieces.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Picher with the Rev. Gary Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Abbey Cemetery in Miami.
Casketbearers will be Casey Beatie, Colen Beatie, Kenny Henderson, David Perry, Shadd Perry and Bud Perry.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Picher.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer or Heart Association.
