Viva Inez (Harvell) Lewis passed from this life and went to with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Sequoyah Pointe Living Center in Owasso. Vi was 69 years old at the time of her passing. She was born to William Chester and Frances Birdie (Leigh) Harvell in Bristow on April 24, 1942. She married her husband Jerry M. Lewis on July 3, 1963, in Witicha, Kan., and now joins her beloved in heaven after his death on Feb. 28, 1981. Until the time of retirement Vi was a live-in care giver in Carthage, Mo.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; tw brothers: William Frank Harvell and Roy Perry Harvell; a sister Mary Elizabeth (Harvell) Martins; two nephews and one great- nephew.

Vi leaves on this Earth her only child, a daughter Vicki Inez (Lewis) Hall, and her husband Mike; three grandchildren: Michael (Sky) Hall and his wife, Cindy, Jeremiah (Jeremy) Hall, and Nicholas (Nick) Hall and one great-granddaughter Addison Hall, all of Owasso.

Two brothers: Donald G. Harvell and Chester H. Harvell both of Miami. Four sisters-in-laws: Sarah Lewis and Billie Hunt both Texas; Linda Trenary of Grove; Viola Floyd of Wyandotte, and one brother-in-law, James Lewis of Wyandotte. She also leaves behind 26 nieces and nephews and several great- and-great-great nieces and nephews and an aunt Inez Carter of Colo., and many cousins.

There will be a memorial to celebrate her life at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at Southeast Baptist Church in Miami, with the Chaplin John Lay officiating.
