Viola Mae Potts of Vinita died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at Craig General Hospital. She was 92.

Mrs. Potts was born May 1, 1914, in Black Hallow, Upper Spavinaw, to James Q. and Phena E. (Gillespie) Foote.

She was a homemaker and a member at Dupree Baptist Church.

She married Andrew Jackson Potts Jr. on Sept. 20, 1934, in Longview. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Vera Elizabeth Huffman and Alene Foote.

Survivors include two sisters and their husbands, Geneva and Don Boling and Beulah and Leo Willits, all of Vinita; six nieces and nephews and their spouses, Ronnie and Fern Boling, LaDonna J. Summer, Jimmie D. Willits, Betty and Coleman Parker, Etta Mae and Homer Weather and Wanda and Raymond Mclaughlin, and several great-nieces and great-nephews including Kara Weathers.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Burckhalter Memorial Chapel with pastor George Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Big Cabin Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Dupree Baptist Church Building Fund.
