Marida Joyce Routh of Norman died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, at Southtown Nursing Center in Bixby. She was 56.
Miss Routh was born Nov. 15, 1953, in Leaky, Texas, to Hugh and Marida (Griffin) Routh. She lived in the Norman area for many years.
She was a CNA working in a local hospital.
Survivors include her mother, Marida Mitchell of Ludington, Mich.; fiance, Robert Ned of the home; two daughters, Easha Marie Kalman of Chanute, Kan., and Ashley Marie Ned of Norman; three brothers, Nathan Routh of Hesperia, Mich., Jack Routh of Altoona, Kan., and Garth Howell of Grove, and six sisters, Georgia Larson of Hesperia, Barbara Phillips of Chanute, Patricia Brock of Quapaw, Carol Routh of Detroit, Mich., Tina Trejo-Ugalde of Cedar Rapids, Mich., and Brenda Trejo-Gomez of Ludington.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, John Ray Routh, and grandparents, John and Georgia Routh.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Commerce. Burial will be in Newman Cemetery in Quapaw.
Pallbearers will be Jack Routh, Payton Brock, Morgan Phillips, Ricky Ned, Jessie Routh and Peter Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Trey Green, John Sibley and Garth Howell.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
