George Russell, III passed away on March 7, 2012, in Seminole, Okla., at the age of 54.
He was born on Sept. 30, 1957, in Fayetteville, N.C., to George Russell, Jr. and Rosemary (Wantland).
George worked at the Seminole Oil Museum and at the 4 Mile Gas and Grocery Store.
He is survived by his mother Rosemary Russell of Miami, Okla.; two sons, George Russell IV, wife Julie and granddaughter Lila Sue of Stillwater, Okla., and Jimmie Russell, wife Beth and grandsons Chad and Brock of Fayetteville, N.C.; four daughters, Lindsey Russell of Norman, Okla., Ashley Russell of Newalla, Okla., Sunny Russell of Norman, Okla., Trixie Russell of Newalla, Okla. He is also survived by four siblings: Samantha Russell Johnson, Charles Russell, Tammy Russell and Gus Russell. He is preceded in death by his father George Russell, Jr.
A Memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2012, at the First Presbyterian Church in Miami, Okla. Family Visitation will be Sunday March 11, 6 p.m. at Paul Thomas Family Center in Miami.
