Mildred Coker of Miami died Sunday, May 13, 2007, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami. She was 94.
Coker was born May 11, 1913, in Pryor to Seth and Ella (Meek) Green. She graduated from Pryor High School in 1931. She moved to Miami in 1945.
She was a homemaker and a member of Northwest Baptist Church.
She married Thurmand E. Coker in 1932 in Nowata. He preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1994.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Ron Coker; her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and one grandson, Mark Coker.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Priscilla and Stanley Kirk of Seneca, Mo., and Jo Jeanne and John Gray of DeSloge, Mo., five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Northwest Baptist Church in Miami with Dr. J. Fulton Amonette officiating. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami. Pallbearers will be Ron Coker, David Gray, Chris Couch, Mike Couch, Ben Coker and Troy Essex.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home in Miami.
Memorials are suggested to children's church camp at Northwest Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
