Donald Andriole Miller died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove. He was 68.
Mr. Miller was born Nov. 19, 1939, in Perry to Ester Miller. His grandparents Elsea and William Penn Miller of the Hickory Grove Community adopted him as an infant.
He was a veteran of the Navy, retiring in 1976 after 20 years of service. He served in the reserves for an additional 10 years.
Survivors include his wife Kathleen Martin-Miller of the home; one daughter and her husband, Donna and Randy Cooper; three brothers, William Penn Miller of Big Cabin, Everett Miller of Phoenix City, Ala., and Leland Miler of Hazelwood, Mo.; seven stepchildren, Kenny Martin of Branson, Mo., Shirley Cox of Cabool, Mo., Gail, David and Kelli Martin, all of Aurora, Mo., Marlin Martin of Springfield, Mo., and Kevin Martin of Ozark, Mo.; 30 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, his grandparents and one stepson, Phillip Jones.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Grove with full military honors.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Martin, David Martin, Marlin Martin, Matthew Martin, Shawn Reeves, Darrell Christensen, Shane Wood and Craig Cox. Honorary pallbearer will be Kevin Martin.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
