Lynette Kaye Botts died Monday, May 4, 2009, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa. She was 62.

Mrs. Botts was born Aug. 20, 1946, in Chelsea to Charles Kenneth and Helen Louise Phillips Stroud. She attended Chelsea schools, graduating with the class of 1964.† She also attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami. She later lived in Miami.†

She was a licensed insurance and real estate agent.† She worked for Geoff Nolte Realty and Rogers Insurance Agency in Miami. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and NEO Board of Realtors.†

She married George Botts on October 1, 1965. He survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include two sons and their wives, Sean and Terri of Grove and Wade and Angie of Miami; one daughter and her husband, Chelsey and Jeremy Funk of Claremore; one sister and her husband, Jenny and Mike Bell of Chelsea; and her grandchildren, Walker, Coner, and Slade Botts, Ashlynn Funk, Cade and Cole Botts, and Talon and Ronin Funk.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Charles Kenneth.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church of Miami. Arrangements are under direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory of Claremore.
