Alice Louise Miller of Miami died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Osborne Care & Rehab Center in Miami after an illness. She was 82.
Mrs. Miller was born June 2, 1926, in Dalhart, Texas, to Manuel and Hessie Mae (Hatfield) Davis. She lived in Miami since 1960, moving from Snyder. She was a salesclerk for May’s Drug for 20 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Miami. She was a bridge player and a member of various local clubs.
She married Edward Miller on June 1, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1964. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters and one granddaughter.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Miller, Robert Miller, Jack Miller and Harry Miller, all of Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Linda Rhodes of Sugarland, Idaho, and Janet Vaughan and Nancy Hart, both of Miami, 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Miami. Elder Robert Miller will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
