Warren C. Guest of Miami died Friday, Aug 1, 2008, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami after a short illness. He was 71.

Mr. Guest was born Jan. 8, 1937, in Chester, Pa., to Warren Sr. and Agnes (Baymore) Guest.

He was veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War serving in the Army as a sergeant first class. He also served in occupied Germany during his tours.

He was a member of Commerce Community Church, the Lions Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of Columbus, Kan.

He was married to Renata Oriani. She preceded him in death.

He is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jonette Guest, and his parents.

He later married Agnes Baymore. She survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include two sons and their wives, Raymond and Regina Guest of Miami and Sirio and Michele Oriani of Marietta, Ga.; three daughters, Janet Sweet of Joplin, Mo., Gloria Norman of Charleston, S.C., and Betty Skeetoe of Houston, Texas; one brother, Herbert Guest of Commerce; one sister, Florence LaFlora of Miami, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami. The Rev. Robert Rabel will officiate. Burial will be in Columbus Parks Cemetery in Columbus. The Army will provide military rites.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
