Mary L. Green of Miami died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami. She was 80.
Mrs. Green was born Sept. 17, 1927, in Neosho, Mo., to Thomas and Annie Mae (Steele) Belmont. She moved to Miami 17 years ago from Sheffield Lake, Ohio.
She worked as a machinist for Parker-Hannifin Company, an airplane parts manufacturer in Avon Lake, Ohio, for 22 years.
She married Norman Green on Aug. 13, 1945, in Columbus, Kan. He survives, of the home.
Additional survivors include three sons, Norman O. Green II of Tulsa, John Mark Green of Vermillion, Ohio, and Terry D. Green of Avon; two daughters, Linda L. Short of Joplin, Mo., and Kaye Conrad of miami, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Hubert Green and Daniel David Green; two brothers, Bill McClure and Donald Belmont, and one sister, Estelle Switzer.
Services were 2 p.m. Saturday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami. The Rev. Bob Barker officiated. Burial was in Granby (Mo.) Cemetery.
Her sons and grandsons served as pallbearers.
