Pansy Hulette of Parsons, Kan., died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Society of Parsons where she had resided since May 2005. She was 90.

Mrs. Hulette was born Dec. 15, 1917, in Seligman, Mo., to Lee Otie and Alma (Taylor) Pendergraft. She grew up and attended schools there. She moved to Joplin, Mo., when she was 15, to Miami in 1975 and to Parsons in February, 2002. She lived at the Good Samaritan Society since May 2005

During World War II, she worked in Benicia, Calif., at a defense plant. She worked as a nurse's aide at Freeman Health Systems in Joplin and later in home healthcare, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Miami.

She married Harry Waters in December, 1936, in Joplin. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1961.

She married William Hulette in 1979 in Miami. He preceded her in death in 1982.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Bruey; one brother, Fred Pendergraft, and two sisters, Bonnie Perry and Flossie Edmondson.

Survivors include two sons, Harry Waters of Henderson, Nev., and Mitchell Waters of Joplin; two daughters, Kay Waters of Shawnee, Kan., and Debra Thompson of Arlington, Texas; one brother, Roy Pendergraft of Willard, Mo.; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Following cremation, the family will hold private burial services at a later date.
