Diana Ruth Hisaw, 62, of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at her home, after an illness.
She was born November 28, 1949 in Miami to Roy Clifford and Betty (Tanner) Webber. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, Class of 1968. She was also a graduate of Pittsburg State University, Class of 1972, where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Psychology.
Diana was a Foreman at B.F. Goodrich from 1977 until 1985. She worked as a social worker for the Department of Human Services for over ten years, before retiring in December of 2011.
She was an active member of Christ Church, South of Fairland. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her for her kindness and laughter.
Diana was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother and step father, Betty and Ed Burchett of Miami; 2 daughters, Chastity Linton of Miami, and Janea Barger of Tulsa; 1 grand-daughter, Haylie Linton of Miami; 1 sister, Cheryl Bates of Fairland; 1 nephew, Brett Trigg of Stillwater, OK; many other loving relatives, and a host of friends.
There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Commerce.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Commerce. Rev. Jerry Baser will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Interment at G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami, OK.
