Karen Lynn Stotts of Miami died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at her home. She was 55.
Mrs. Stotts was born Nov. 8, 1952, in Miami to Lee and Edna (LaFalier) Lester. She graduated from Commerce High School in 1971 and attended beauty college. She lived in the area most of her life.
She was a homemaker and a day care provider. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
She married Gerald Eugene Stotts on May 5, 1972, in Miami. He survives, of the home.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Carrie Ruth Stotts of Chetopa, Kan.; one brother, Steve Lester of Miami, and one sister, Judy Davis of Miami.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami. The Rev. Ed McFall will officiate. Burial will be in Miami Nation Cemetery in Miami.
Pallbearers will be Bill Moses, Scott Blackledge, Steve Blackledge, Nathan Blackledge, Rocky LaFalier and Bill Lester.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
