Everett W. “Tubb” Logan of Clearwater, Kan., died Friday, Jan. 1, 2010. He was 84.

Mr. Logan was born Nov. 2, 1925, in rural Ottawa County the last of 12 children born to James Guy and Mattie (Lemley) Logan. He moved to Wichita, Kan., in 1951 and settled in the Oatville, Kan., community in 1957.

He was employed by Beechcrafter Aircraft from 1951 to 1989 and was working in Plastics and Special Projects when he retired.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Norma Faye.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Dr. Lance Logan and Dr. Sue Summers of Del City, and Lex and Jane Logan of Clearwater; four grandchildren, Zach Logan and wife Heather, Matthew Logan, Mattie Logan and Codie Logan, and two great-grandchildren, Prestley Wyatt and Aubrey Rose.

Services were held Jan. 4 at First Christian Church in Clearwater.

Arrangements are under the direction of Webb-Shinkle Mortuary.
