Daisy Murdock of Fayetteville, Ark., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was 78.
Mrs. Murdock was born Sept. 30, 1929, in South Gate, Calif., to Flavel and Amy Dale (Marvel) Kellogg. She was a 1947 graduate of Huntington Beach High School in California.
She worked as a medical transcriptionist for UCI Medical Center in Orange, Calif., for 31 years before retiring. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Siloam Springs, Ark.
She married Carl Murdock on July 17, 1948, in California. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1990.
She married Marvin Murdock on June 16, 1995, in Kentucky. He preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 2007.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sons, DeWayne Clover and his wife Nan of Portland, Ore., and Michael Murdock of California; two daughters and their husbands, Lora and Mark Jones of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Brenda and Mark Lambrecht of Mukwonago, Wis.; one stepdaughter and her husband, Myrna and Ron Saulsberryof Del City; three grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Thomas Funeral Home in Welch. Minister Jason Murray will officiate. Burial will be in Bluejacket Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Lambrecht, Mark Jones, DeWayne Clover, Ron Little, Scott Allen and Dan Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Saulsberry and David Saulsberry.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
