Zelious “Granny” Miller of Miami died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at Miami Nursing Cener. She was 104.
Mrs. Miller was born Feb. 21, 1904, in Rome, Mo., to Moses “Albert” and Florence (Roller) Richards. She lived all of her life in this area, moving to Miami in 1942 from Afton.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Nazarene Church of Miami.
She married Earl C Miller on Sept. 2, 1924. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1980.
She was also preceded in death by three sons, Gene Miller, Gerald Miller and Melvin Miller; her parents, three brothers, one sister, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include two sons, Charlie Miller and Larry Miller and wife June, all of Miami; 32 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 34 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami. Pastor Casey Hollingsworth will officiate. Burial will be in Sixkiller Cemetery in Afton.
Pallbearers will be Jack Campbell, Danny Judd, John Judd, Tommy Campbell, Dave Judd and Frank Foust. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Miller, Larry Miller and Steve Miller.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Regency Hospice in care of the funeral home.
