Russell (Rusty) Lee Wright 46, of Saddlebrook, Mo. passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012.
Rusty was born in Miami, Okla. on November 16, 1965 to Dennis and Louise Wright. Rusty graduated from Miami High School in Miami, Okla. in 1984. He attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Rusty enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter, and soon became a Park Ranger for the Ozark National Park Service. He then went on to become an entrepreneur in the construction field where he was recognized for his work at Camp Barnabas, in Purdy Mo. by Extreme Home Make-Over.
Rusty was preceded in death by his father Dennis Wright.
Rusty is survived by his wife Doris Wright and his three children Marcus 21, Landon 11, and Olivia 9. Rusty is survived by his mother, Louise Wright of Miami, Okla., his brother Joe Wright and family of Oklahoma City, and his sister Denise Gates and family of Tulsa, Okla.
Rusty was a wonderful husband, father and son. He was full of life, laughter and stories and lived life to it's fullest. Rusty was loyal to his friends and family. He was generous and kind and worked in humanitarian efforts around the world. He had very big heart and loved his wife and children dearly. He was very proud of his children, Marcus, Landon and Olivia and was always sharing their accomplishments with family and friends. They enjoyed many canoe trips on the Buffalo River, fishing, canoeing and camping. His wife Doris of 15 years was the love of his life. He will be greatly missed by all who have known him. He loved unconditionally, and was loved by all.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at the church where Rusty was a member, Faith Baptist Church, 1681 Spokane Rd. Spokane, Missouri on Saturday August 25, at 11:00 am.
