Ricky Joe Howard of Cassville, Mo., died Saturday, May 12, 2007, at St. John's Medical Center in Springfield, Mo. He was 38.

Howard was born Sept. 2, 1968, in Welch to the Rev. Jim and Saundra (McDugle) Clay. He was a graduate of Stillwater High School.

He worked for the Childcare Aware Program through Oklahoma State University.

Survivors include his parents; four brothers and their wives, Tom and Sarah Reeves of Vinita, Kyle and Kristen McCaleb of Biloxi, Miss., Jeff and Shara Westlin of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Parks Reeves of Arkansas, and five sisters and their husbands, Kathy and Stacy Oakley of Afton, Carol Jean Biggs of Wyandotte, Laurie and Richard Jones and Anna Marie and Bo Walker, all of Eagle Rock, Mo., and Jamie Clay of Miami.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bates Reeves, and grandparents, Roy and Loretta McDugle and Minnie Reeves.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Eagle Rock with the Rev. Jody Ray officiating.

Burial will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Williams Timberhill Cemetery, east of Welch with the Rev. Butch Miller officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thomas Funeral Home in Welch.

Memorials are suggested to the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church youth chapel.
