Delpha Pauline Miller of Miami died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at Eastwood Manor in Commerce. She was 84.
Mrs. Miller was born March 27, 1924, in Fairland to Julius and Lillie Elizabeth (Roberts) Blalack. She lived in the area all of her life
She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Garrett, in 1956; her second husband, Preston Miller, in 1970; one daughter, Loisa Joyce, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Delbert and Judy Garrett of Wyandotte; one brother and his wife, Kenneth and Judy Blalack of Miami; three grandchildren and their spouses, Paula and Monty Schnautz, Mike and Lisa Garrett and Rick and Lisa Garrett, all of Miami, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami. The Rev. Gary Rhoades will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.
Pallbearers will be Mike Garrett, Rick Garrett, Monty Schnautz, Adam Schnautz, Gary Hignite, Lyndon Cook and Tom Botts.
