Roland O. “Bud” Allen died Monday, May 8, 2007, at his home in Tulsa. He was 68.

Allen was born Sept. 20, 1930, in Bell, Calif., to Oliver and Zola (Holt) Allen. He was of Afton.

He was a veteran of the Air Force.

He earned his living caring for property owned by Citi Services and Oxy Petroleum for 36 years.

He married Wilma Barnes on Jan. 21, 1983. She survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include one daughter and her husband, Susie and Richard Stahl of Bartlesville; one son, Roland Ray Allen of Liberty, Texas; one stepdaughter, Mary Talaga of Pryor; one stepson, Raymond Swift of Bernice; three sisters and their husbands, Norma Calloway, Lois and George Parker and Ann and Pablo Alverado, all of Bartlesville; two brothers and their wives, Jody and Margaret Allen of Vinita and Don and Patty Allen of Independence, Kan., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove with pastor Wayne Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Six Killer Cemetery in Afton.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
