Jack Garrett Ramaker died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007. He was 74.
Mr. Ramaker was born March 19, 1933, in Sheboygan, Wis., to Eugene and Emily (Kindall) Ramaker.
A veteran of the Army and later the Air Force, he worked as a flight engineer and retired as a master sergeant after 27 years of service.
He was employed by Eastern State Hospital as a security officer, later phasing into the position of correctional officer at the same facility retiring in 1992.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Gail, of the home; five sons and their wives, Harley, of the home, Vance and Timilyn of Langley, Glen and Crystal Seamon of Afton, Gregory and Diana of Lenexa, Kan., and Kelly and Robin Bryant of Muskogee; three daughters, Anissa and husband Charlie Partain of the Eucha area, Maria Bryant and Olivia Bryant of Modesto, Calif.; one sister, Betty Dahmer of Scottsdale, Ariz., and 15 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one stepdaughter, Ginger Seaman; one stepson, Robert Bryant; one sister, Ruth Wolfe, and one grandson, Robert Kelly Bryant. .
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Turner Memorial Chapel in Langley. Burial will be in Kethcum Cemetery with Air Force Honors.
