Ronnie Joe Johnson of Vinita and Bluejacket died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007.
He was 55.
Mr. Johnson was born July 19, 1952, in Hugoton, Kan., to Bobbie Joe and Ethel Belle (Nazworthy) Johnson.
He retired from Sherwood Construction as a truck driver in March, 2007, due to his health.
He also worked at KAMO Electric and Budweiser.
Survivors include five children and their spouses, Amy Jo and Clint Looper of Catoosa, Steven and Amie Johnson and Falon Johnson, all of Claremore, Chase Johnson and Chance Johnson, both of Vinita; two brothers and their wives, Billy and Candas Johnson and Kenny and Penny Johnson, all of Vinita, and two granddaughters, Ariel Jade Looper and Adylyn Jo Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobbie Johnson and Ethel Coots; stepfather Ralph Coots, and sisters Sharon Kay and Mona Johnson.
Services were held Saturday at Burckhalter Funeral Service. Pastor Justin Turner officiated.
Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charlie Hillegass, Daryl Wilson, Doug Hatzenbuehler, Jimmy Riddle, Les Scheer and Bob Porter.
Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Haff, Randy Johnson, Billy Johnson and Mike Woodard.
