Viola Mae Crouch of Miami died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami after an illness. She was 53.
Mrs. Crouch was born July 2, 1954, in Dumas, Texas, to Lewis and Geneva (Gilbert) Blunk. She lived in the Picher and Miami area all of her life.
She was a nurse's aide and had worked at Quapaw Nursing Center, Eastwood Manor and Osborne Care and Rehab. She was a member of Highway Tabernacle of Cardin.
She was married to Richard Crouch. He preceded her in death on May 8, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Eddie Blunk.
Survivors include three sons, Jason Crouch, Justin Crouch and Bobbie Stanley, all of Miami; four brothers, Claude Blunk of Quapaw, Bobby Blunk of Miami, Fred Blunk of Baxter Springs, Kan., and Bill Blunk of Treece, Kan.; four sisters, Betty Boyd of Bakersfield, Calif., Nancy McKibben of North Miami, Teresa Judd of Commerce and Vickie Hayworth of Picher, and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami with the Rev. Ray Clonts officiating. Burial will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, east of Miami.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Judd, Shane Blunk, Charles Ray McKibben, Joshus McKibben, Lewis Blunk and Eddie Blunk. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Boyd, Donnie Boyd, Chris Boyd, Freddie Blunk and Cody Stanley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
