Harold Victor Knight of Vinita died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at his home. He was 94.

Mr. Knight was born March 22, 1914, in Ellsworth, Kan., to Victor L. and Mary (Davis) Knight. 

He was a World War II veteran of the Army.   

He raised cattle. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and was an active member of Timberhill Church of Christ.

He married Alice Josephine Foxworthy on Sept. 5, 1945, in Girard, Kan. She survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include two sons and their wives, Harold L. and Carole Knight and Terry and Dianna Knight, all of Pryor; four daughters and their husbands, Peggy Edgar of California, Jeannie and Larry Martin of Pryor, Betty and Jeff Couch of Fort Smith, Ark., and Vicki and Larry Timmerman of Mannford, and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Arthur and Victor Knight, and two sisters, Thelma Corns and Virginia Withrow.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas Funeral Home in Welch. Minister Justin Garrett will officiate. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery, west of Welch. 

Pallbearers will be Larry and Jamie Martin, Jeff Couch, Bill McHone, Bill Seigel and Bill Tallman.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
