Beatrice Juanita Joiner of Tulsa died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City after an illness. She was 73.
Joiner was born Feb. 2, 1934, in Jay to Everett and Fay (Griggs) Beason.
She was a homemaker.
She married Howell Joiner on Dec. 2, 1977, in Richardson, Texas. He survives, of the home.
Additional survivors include four daughters, Carol Broad of Tulsa, Deborah Mendenhall of Lexington Park, Md., and Marie Roach and Shelly Ogden, both of Tulsa; two stepsons, John Joiner of Palm Springs, Calif., and Keith Joiner of Valley Wash.; one brother, Howard Beason of Joplin, Mo.; four sisters, Wanda Hildebrand and Marie Wyrick, both of Miami, Billie Darnell of Wichita, Kan., and Barbara Hensley of Springfield, Ore., 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Don Beason, and one sister, Leona Mae Beason.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Frankhoma Road Church of God in Sapulpa with James Bell and Curtis Williams officiating. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in G.A.R. Cemetery with Carl Schaffer officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thomas Funeral Home in Welch. Visitation will also be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Frankhoma Road Church of God.
