Leonard Stacy Cole of Fairland died Friday evening, Nov. 16, 2007, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center of Miami after a sudden illness. He was 59.

Mr. Cole was born March 16, 1948, in Miami, to Bill and Josephine (Oliver) Cole. He moved to Fairland in 1992.

He was a truck driver, working for Hott Trucking in Pryor. He was a Vietnam War of the Army. He was a member of the Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce.

He married Donna McCoy on April 3, 1980, at Miami. She survives, of the home.

Additional survivors include two sons and their wives, Steven and Rachel Huff of Sperry and Donnie and Renae Cole of Commerce; one daughter, Stacey Martin of Fort Campbell, Ky.; one sister, Alvine Thompson of Fairland, and six grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Adcock Funeral Home Chapel in Fairland. The Rev. Jerry VonMoss will officiate. Burial will be at Fairland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Todd Stanley, Steve Puckett, Wesley Sly, Bobby Franklin, Paul Collins, and Bobby Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Graham and Jon Wallin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
