Erma L. Stone of Commerce died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami. She was 86.
Mrs. Stone was born March 3, 1921, in Slick to Bruce and Faye (Fulcher) Vaughan.
She was a homemaker. She was a Sunday school teacher for 25 years in Cardin and Kellogg, Idaho. She was a member of Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce.
She married Roy L. Stone on March 31, 1937. He preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jake Vaughan and Wayne Vaughan; one sister, Lucille Vaughan Garner, and her stepfather, Bill Randall.
Survivors include two sisters and their husbands, Doris and Charles Wynne of Athol, Idaho, and Carol and Glenn Rickey of Tulsa; one stepsister and her husband, Betty and Randall Buckner of Baxter Springs, Kan., and three nephews, Lloyd Stone and wife Suzie of Commerce, and Jerry Vaughan and Jim Vaughan, both of Miami.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce with the Rev. Jerry Von Moss officiating. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami.
Pallbearers will be Jim Long, John Sanders, Mose Mayer, Steve Garrett, David Pannell and Mark Long.
