Daisy Allen Donnell was born Sept. 14, 1932, in Wellington, Texas, to Elijah Samson and Vera Belle White Woodside. She died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, in Miami, Okla., at the age of 78 years. She spent much of her working life as an accounting clerk and various other positions. She was married to her childhood sweetheart on Oct. 20, 2000, at Eureka Springs, Ark. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including traveling and camping. She also enjoyed reading and working puzzles. Daisy was a loving mother, grandmother, and Gigi. She was passionate about her family, especially her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She was a faithful Christian and loved the Lord.
Loving family members include: her husband, Jack, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Kris and Joe Wolfe, of Owasso, Okla.; daughter, Sarah Harwood, of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren, Melanie Colt and her husband Jason, Brannon Wolfe and his wife Jenny, Steven Harwood, Dylan Harwood; great-grandchildren, Austen and Bryce Colt, Cody and Cooper Wolfe; sisters, Sarah Fritts and her husband Charlie, of Owasso, Okla., Betty Smith and her husband R.Z., of Tulsa, Okla.; Jack's children, Brenda Garrett and her husband Joe, Sharon Stephens and her husband Kevin, John Donnell and his wife Jeannie, Donna Mielcarek and her husband Mike; and many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mary Lou Evans and Nita Sanders, and a brother, Calvin Woodside.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso, Okla.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Gary Smith officiating.
Serving as casket bearers will be Brannon Wolfe, Cody Wolfe, Jason Colt, Austen Colt, Bryce Colt, Steven Harwood, Dylan Harwood and Larry Rust. Honorary casket bearer will be Cooper Wolfe.
Committal services and interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Integris Regency Hospice, 115 South Main Street, Miami, OK, 74354-7024.
