William Rodney Aldinger of Afton died Friday, July 25, 2008. He was 73.

Mr. Aldinger was born Oct. 18, 1934, in York, Penn., to WM J. and Kathleen (Wilkinson) Aldinger.

He served in the Navy during the Korean War.

Mr. Aldinger was a member of the Cowboy Junction Church in Vinita and a 50-year member of Local 520 Harrisburg, Penn., Plumbers and Pipe-fitter Union and Shiloh, Penn., American Legion Post 791.

He had lived in Afton for 20 years, moving from York, Penn.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen S. Warner and her husband Ed of Red Lion, Penn.; Sharon Miller and her husband Larry of Oswego, Kan., and Stacey L. Baugher and her husband Greg of Parsons, Kan.; a son, Bill Aldinger and his wife Tami of Oswego, Kan., and six grandchildren, Amy Warner, Abby and Todd Dise, Vickie Baugher, Cody Aldinger and Emily Aldinger.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Cowboy Junction Church in Vinita with Wade Markum officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Cowboy Junction Church.

Services are under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami.
