Beasley Blalock of Fairland died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at Integris Grove General Hospital after an illness. He was 61.
Mr. Blalock was born June 21, 1947, in Commerce to Jack and Goldie (Snowden) Blalock. He was a lifetime resident of Fairland.
He was a truck driver for different companies, most recently for Comstar.
He married Emma Mae Berlier on Jan. 4, 1999. She survives, of the home.
Additional survivors include one son, Jason Ryan Blalock of Grove; one stepson, Calvin Garrett of Fairland; one daughter, Angela Rene Blalock of Jay; one stepdaughter, Tamara Machelle Trout of Fairland; two brothers, Kenneth Blalock of Commerce and Clayton McGonigle of Wisconsin; three sisters, Ann Seats of Arkansas, Belva Sue Ruppert of Commerce and Lucy Wright of Miami, and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Wade Blalock, and seven brothers, Andy, Lebron, Steve, Roy, Bobby, John and Levi.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hickory Grove Church. Pastor Mek Jackson will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Adcock Funeral Home in Fairland.
